Title: Great Little TV
Review: This is just what I wanted! The description says it’s a smart TV, but it isn’t. I use it with my cable box, which has TIVO. I have all my recorded shows and the apps without the unnecessary menus. After turning it off and then turning it on, it starts on the channel I was watching last – no choosing the input or a smart menu. It is just a TV. How great is that? The picture is good and the sound quality is okay. I use it in my bedroom and I am quite happy with it. I recommend this TV for anyone who just wants a TV without all the extras.

Title: User friendly like TVs of the past.
Review: My family uses antenna tv and the newer TVs are difficult to use unless you pay for extra services, this TV is like the older model TVs of the past, just hook up the antenna and go. Highly recommend.

Title: Disappointed but I am living with it.
Review: The sound is okay but I have a DVR that connects via HDMI cable to the tv. This is also how I get the over the air signal to the tv. When I am in tv mode the sound is good but when I am HDMI 2 mode there is no sound. If I Unplug the HDMI and plug it back in the sound comes on. I thought it might be the cable so I bought a new one from Amazon and still have the same problem. I never had this issue with the tv I was replacing or with the HDMI cable.

Title: Excellent quality non-smart TV is perfect for an antenna use and elderly
Review: Can’t go wrong with the Westinghouse TV. Works great and because it’s not a smart TV you can use it with an antenna and it won’t just default to a smart TV functions. I bought this for an elderly friend and it’s easy for her to use because she does not have to go through the Internet to turn on the TV. The connectivity and functionality are excellent because they are not a smart TV grateful for an elderly person who just wants to watch antenna TV.

Title: Do Not Buy!!! Westinghouse Terrible Company/Customer Service
Review: Westinghouse has been the worst television company I have EVER purchased from. We bought this small cheap television for a blind family member who though they cannot see, they enjoy listening to television. When we first opened the box and set the tv up, we noticed that the coaxial port on the box shook when twisting the cable on. However, since the picture worked, we thought nothing of it. 4 weeks later, this disabled family member calls me to tell me the tv stop working and they heard a popping sound. So when I get to their home, the cable had fallen out of the tv along with the coaxial port (it was still screwed into the cable and laying on the floor). I contacted Amazon who said there was nothing they could do because it was a month after the date of purchase. They recommended contacting Westinghouse because it would have a warranty. I contacted Westinghouse, they said the following verbatim in email “we only cover a warranty when the TV has a manufacturer defect. A TV that has a physical defect is not part of our manufacturer’s defect. Unfortunately. Due to this matter, we regret to inform you that we cannot honor your claim.” So your company manufactured a television with a faulty loose part, and you don’t consider that a manufacturer’s defect? This is nonsense. I call Amazon to complain, they said luckily you purchased an Asurion tv protection plan. I call them and they say the same thing “we don’t cover this type of defect”. It’s all a scam and they work together. Therefore, if you plan on buying this tv, I highly recommend that you don’t. Go with Sony, Samsung, or Insignia. I have had tvs with them for years and when I have a problem their companies either replace or repair your issue.

Title: Pros & Cons Laid Out
Review: Well, I really wanted to like this TV because it’s not smart.I have no idea how on earth people still watch regular TV with the commercials & ads every 6-8 minutes.I am a die hard TiVo fan. This TV allows TiVo to open but will not allow the TiVo to search for a compatible remote control code.Who wants to go back to the dinosaur age and use TWO REMOTES?Using TiVo to select content without the ability to operate the volume is insanity!THAT was a dealbreaker and yes, I tried getting help from TiVo Community as well as Westinghouse to no avail.Today, I returned the TV.TV:Its just ok, nothing to write home about but then again, it’s a non-smart TV.Workmanship:Ho-hum is how I felt about how cheaply it was made (both TV & remote).I knew it wasn’t a good sound product just picking it up. It’s soooo lightweight & coming from a 27 year career in import/export I knew perfectly well I overpaid & was able to estimate the actual price range based on functionality, brand and overall experience after processing tons of shipping manifests over 27 yrs (when products appear on a manifest, US Customs requires the actual value) I won’t divulge what my range was but it’s safe to say, I didn’t make out like a bandit on this purchase. What’s weird is I specifically searched out an American made HD TV because that’s all I wanted; something simple even though I consider myself a tech savvy person that rarely has any challenges in this space. This, I just couldn’t justify but…Kudos:The well-documented slew of reviews as it relates to many brands opting to use poorly constructed flimsy legs for TVsdidn’t happen with this unit. It may look like the other flimsy stands but its solid and I had no worries about instabilitySound:I thought it was not the best but acceptable for a unit in this “price range”.Picture Quality:It’s not too bad after a few adjustments to settings which nowadays often offers volume control that has to be set high. Not so with this unit, I thought wow as I lowered the sound after seeing just how loud it could get.It just wasn’t going to work for me using two remotes the way we did in the 90’s.

Review: Es una buena pantalla, los colores se ven bien, por el precio es algo que vale la pena, lo único que no me gustó tanto fue el sistema de sonido, no se escucha tan fuerte.

Review: Great small TV and decent cost. It has more inputs and outputs than many larger expensive TVs including three HDMI inputs. A very good remote control. Just the sound could be a bit louder. It has two sound outputs which I use with a small soundbar, for much improved sound quality.
