Title: Best Quality TV Money Can Buy
Review: The TCL 65-Inch Class QM8K Series QD-Mini LED is an impressive TV that delivers on almost every front. Motion quality is smooth and consistent, making fast-paced sports and action movies easy to enjoy without blur. The picture is outstanding—clear, bright, and crisp with excellent color depth that makes everything pop. Title: Picture Quality up there
Review: This is a very good TV. The picture quality is up there, blacks show up literally black. Decided to test it at 1080 with dune. It did not disappoint as dark detailed black outfits showed every design. Overall picture quality is good at 1080, Imagine it can only get better at higher resolutions. Best setting without calibration is Filmmaker mode. The colors look very accurate. Overall nice looking TV. Looks well built. Streams well, plenty of apps and sound is good. Easy to set up, nice anti glare screen, with back-lit remote.

Title: Pure blacks, bright picture! Upgraded from Samsung.
Review: Just got it yesterday. Setup was super easy. Picture is beautiful! We use Apple TV and it works as it should. We have a fairly bright living room so I knew we needed the brighter option over an OLED. Caught it on sale for $900 (65”). Perfect fit (of course I had already measured our stand for our max size).Blacks are pure black!

Title: Best deal for the price
Review: Very light for its size. Great, bright and vibrant screen with excellent Dolby Vision and HDR. My only complaint is the remote is leaves a lot to be desired, but you can always use the app on your phone.

Title: 98″ is just too heavy to manage warranty issues
Review: Alas, i got one of the many panels that burn out the driver boards and spent 2 weeks so far in warranty slog… background: Worked for one week and was quite impressive picture and sound for a TV (still really should have home theater speakers though). Then the backlight failed. It is very heavy, only take the risk if it is an ‘easy’ first floor location, else movers are likely needed to safely move it.Service action at the house recovered the backlight for about 10 minutes, then failed again. Now waiting on the next level of support to respond.Trying to return it now. Very polite and easy to reach TCL front line agents, but no direct access to the decision makers. Lots of requests for pictures and videos and then invoice. Stalling tactic or poor process? Getting a lot of run around and my return timeline is running out. Amazon site indicate I need the original box, but installer took the box and they don’t have it anymore due to its size. TCL says, ” There is no need to return the unit to our facility, so not having the original box will not be an issue.”, but have not provided a path to initiate the refund. Not sure if it just means it is my problem to properly dispose of the e-waste.Net net – TCL quality isn’t ready for primetime and if given the size and weight – it is just much more worth it go the projector route for a home theater dark room, and stay at 85″ or below for regular rooms..

Title: Wow just WOW!
Review: Beautiful TV. So bright and colorful. Sound quality through my receiver is also significantly improved over my 6 year old Sony Bravia. Very pleasantly calibrated right out of the box. Google TV works well. Streaming quality and speed is terrific. Really not much negative to say about this. And the price during Prime days was an absolute bargain. Very happy with this purchase.

Title: Solid TV!
Review: Did a lot of research on this TV before purchase. For me, this is an amazing TV. I have my PS5 connected to it and the games look great on it. I did have to do some minor changes to the picture settings out of the box, but I used rtings.com suggested values and just adjusted brightness to my liking and room conditions. I did turn off adaptive brightness, because for me it was distracting. But the packaging was great, putting the stand together was simple. Cable management consists of some clips that go on the back of the TV. The only issue that I have encountered thus far is the OTA update system that TCL uses is not reliable. My TV came with firmware v206. Auto update said there were no further updates available, however v237 is current which is 2 updates past the stock firmware I had. I had to contact TCL support to assist with doing a manual firmware update. There were nice and helpful, I used the online chat option. They followed up by email with instructions and also followed up after the firmware was installed.Overall I got a solid deal on this TV during Amazon Prime Day, but after receiving it and experiencing it, It is still worth the current price that it is going for (Currently $1,297)I had hesitations about trying TCL but I have been pleasantly surprised by this model and would recommend this model for sure to anyone who is not quite ready or able to do an OLED.

Review: TV has a fantastic picture and many settings. Great remote has features that combine functions. Bang & Olufsen TV speakers sound incredible. (Note: For large rooms and/or bigger TV’s get the TCL 7.1.4 for enhancement)
