Title: Possible the best TV you can get right now
Review: As an engineer, I am very detail-oriented and analytical. I did a tremendous amount of research before selecting this TV. I’ve been around for a while and the name Panasonic has carried a reputation for quality and reliability on par with Sony for decades. I was thrilled when Panasonic returned to the US market. If you want the latest screen technology, tandem OLED, along with incredible sound (with a subwoofer) that you can actually tailor to your viewing and listening area, get this TV. The picture and sound are incredible. There are a bunch of settings to customize the TV. There are also YouTube videos about settings for the best viewing experience. The TV does not get hot and with my 65″, the yellow energy guide sticker says it costs $81/year to operate. This TV also has the latest ATSC 3.0 tuner, opening up a ton of free over-the-air channels. When ATSC 3.0 becomes the de facto industry standard, TVs with the current ATSC 1.0 tuner will need an external ATSC 3.0 tuner to get over-the-air TV. This is not a thin TV, but that’s not important to me. I want the best picture and quality. No issues with ads that a previous reviewer mentioned. Anyone not paying extra for the top tier Amazon Prime membership, will get Amazon ads. There are privacy settings you can set. The only thing slight negative is the Firestick remote, but it’s something you get used to. I may order a traditional remote with a number pad so I can enter over-the-air channels directly.

Title: Best TV, period. Hate the FireTV part, though.
Review: Love this TV, mostly. Excellent picture right out of the box. Every review I read was right. Panasonic is top of the heap. The Fire TV crapware is what I hate. Not a fan. Plays all the 4K HD formats that are current. Except Dolbyvision 2 has just been announced. 🙄 Sounds great, but I’ve switched over to my stereo, anyway. I didn’t buy it for the excellent built-in sound. The remote sucks. It’s a 6.2” Fire Tv remote. I hate the Amazon remote and the overlay, but the rest is banging. I was hoping to get the Panasonic remote pictured in the manual for the TV, but the manual is wrong. Has ATSC 3.0, so it’s NextGen TV ready. (I do use an antenna.). For picture- it’s 5 stars. That was my primary focus in purchasing. A TV that could play all the 4k formats natively. The built in Filmmaker Mode. All good stuff. I haven’t changed a setting yet. And from what I read, it can get even brighter with a professional calibration. I don’t see the need yet though, as I’m not doing color correction or anything on the screen yet. Maybe if I get back into the video field I pay the extra money for it. I think it looks fantastic right out of the box. I highly recommend, but am completely bewildered why Panasonic would allow this product to be Amazon-ified with the FireTV overlay on its menu screen. That part really annoys the hell out of me.

Title: Best picture and audio. FireTV operating system needs getting used to
Review: My disability leads me to watch a lot of TV. Now, this makes it much better and more pleasant. With this Panasonic 77Z95B, I changed from a 65″ LG 2020 C series which was my first OLED tv and I loved that device. This Panasonic 77″ Z95B is a definite move up not just in the size of screen but also the visual. Panasonic provides multiple ‘out of the box’ picture settings. The main reason many will want this is the most obvious with the built in Technic’s audio system. If anyone already has a soundbar or some other audio system they may not the overly interested in this item. The audio is way beyond anything in any other flagship UHDTV brands so if you have no audio system and don’t want to buy one, this TV is the obvious choice. One reason that I went with this UHDTV is not just the 4 stack RGB panels, the same as on the LG G5 model, but also with the professional grade Panasonic Processing. In addition to those panels that need to cooled, it is cooled by the very important system called ‘ThermaFlow’. That is the Panasonic term for the cooling system for the panels that will keep it bright and last much longer. Many people will get frustrated or really dislike the Amazon ‘Fire TV’ operating system.Let me tell you, no company has the perfect OS. Changing brands just leads to a new learning curve on what works best in the OS that the TV has. The ‘FireTV’ system just takes time to get used to and learn what works best for each owners needs and desires. This TV was just mounted on 8/6/2025 and I am extremely pleased with what I see and hear.. The ‘out of the box’ picture presets are great, easy to use, and quite possibly, I may not need to get it professionally calibrated. If I do decide to have it calibrated, it already has presets for the CALMAN calibrator access to the needed settings.I am very happy with this expensive, but worthwhile purchase.

Title: Great Picture
Review: Bought this to replace my OLED LG that developed burn-in. The picture is great which makes it easier to overlook some flaws. Instead of tuning in to the cable stations when you turn it on, you first go to the menu and have to select the cable input. Also the remote is pretty basic. The sound is very good too.
