Title: Best RGB color for Budget Mini-LED
Review: Bought the budget TCL mini-led QM5K 50 inch and everything about it was perfect (Google TV) but the color was a little off and not sure if that is a one-off issue, or if all 5K’s are like that. Very impressive with vibrant colors and smooth clear images, but it didn’t have a wide range in the yellow and orange colors. It was a little limited even after trying all sorts of color calibrations and adjustments. Bought this TV and it does have smooth play issues (stuttering) at the beginning of Prime Video. After about a minute, it is okay. Tried both Ethernet and WIFI and it didn’t matter. Haven’t tried my fire or Roku stick yet, but I might. If this Hisense had Google TV, I would have bought two, no question. I don’t like Fire much. As for the color, I use the “Custom” setting for Picture Mode and the color is EXACTLY the way I like it. It’s so good, I didn’t even check the other settings. I use the same exact numbers for HLG, HDR10, and “standard video (like youtube) and live TV”. Having “Skin Tone Control” really helps add more color without over-saturation. I didn’t see that on my TCL. Not sure if the AI chip learns the signal format, but it does seem to improve the more I use it. Not a lot, but it does seem smoother and clearer now than out of the box. Another win for this TV over the 5K is I have it hooked up to a Vizio sound bar. On this TV, when you adjust the volume, it gives a number value (10,12,14) but the TCL just shows + or -. I like to see the number volume value. Since Fire isn’t intuitive for setting, you have to disconnect the eARC HDMI cable, THEN adjust your bass/treble, then plug it back in. (huh?) to add depth to the sound bar. Hisense does need to tweak this model a little bit, and if they do, it will be very much a value win as a mini-led at this price point and is very much worth it. I almost went with a QLED, but glad I spent the extra $100 or so for mini-led.

Title: A great investment for a big screen smart TV.
Review: Very nice smart big screen television. Very big & very heavy. Purchasing this I strongly advise you understand something this big is also very heavy and it absolutely needs 2 people to work with it. GREAT technology and the whole unit itself is very sturdy. The television pictures are amazing, and the sound is fantastic. It’s a huge investment and if cinema viewing is your passion, then this big screen smart TV is perfect for you. Definitely not for a small room. The backside of the unit has 2 handles built in to help hold the tv & lift or walk with it. The volume is wonderful!

Title: Tv is nice but the OS isn’t very good.
Review: The screen is huge and picture is very nice. I’m not a fan of the fire tv os. It’s a bit laggy and has a weird screen sleep setting that makes it go to sleep after a minute or 2 and when I wake it up it resorts back to the homepage. The ambient mode straight up does not work at all. I’m hoping a software update will fix those issues, but I kinda regret not getting the Google version of this TV.

Title: Great budget TV for gaming
Review: Picture and sound quality exceeded expectations. It is a budget TV but well worth $250! Bought this for my 14 year old son to go with a new PS5. Works as described. Automatically detects game system and switches to game mode.

Title: Well worth the money spent!
Review: First off, let me be clear here. With a $500 price tag, I consider this a budget TV so perfection was not expected. However, this is the 3rd HiSense tv I have purchased… my little 32″ HiSense LCD tv is still going strong in my bedroom after about 15 years. I bought one similar to this for my grandma for Christmas last year and she loves it (I set it all up for her and was very impressed with both the picture quality and the audio quality). This one is no exception, unboxing was fast, installing the feet was as simple as flipping the TV over, setting the feet into place, and screwing in 4 screws. Plugged it in and booted it up and it took me through an install process just like it I were setting up a Firestick for first use. The picture is great and the audio quality is unreal for a flat panel tv. No soundbar is needed unless you like to really feel the bass hitting you. It does not sound tinny at all which is extremely common with these larger flat panel tv’s. The only “con” is that the OS is ever so slightly laggy but not enough to make you rip your hair out…just a very slight delay. But again, you’re buying a 65″ tv for $500 so don’t expect absolute perfection. You’re getting what you’re paying for and this is absolutely worth the money. The attached video is with the volume at I think 12…I didn’t see how high it would go but based on the visual indicator, I would bet around 35-40. The bass was better in real-time. My phone doesn’t pick up the lows very well.

Title: Best TV I’ve ever owned
Review: To start, I’ve never had a TV anywhere close to this size before but this thing is massive and beautiful for watching movies and TV. Be prepared to have multiple people ready to assist with getting this TV where you need it to be. It comes with handles on the back for ease of installation but this TV is larger than my entire dining table and was delivered on a pallet. The TV itself is the best quality one I’ve ever seen and the colors are stunning. This has really leveled up my viewing experience. I’d hope anyone that buys this TV also does a good sound setup for the best experience possible. I cannot recommend this TV enough.

Title: Dirty screen effect on edges of TV
Review: I think I may have gotten a used TV because there is dirty screen effect, a horizontal grey line, darkening around the edges of the TV, most noticable on greys and browns. When i got the TV there was a white splotch in the middle when the tv was in sleep mode but when I pressed on it it went away. One of the screws for the legs couldnt screw in all the way. The image is fine when I play movies and video games but the scenes with grey and brown I can see the darkening bands on the edges of my tv about 3″ wide. I have a feeling if I get a replacement the dirty screen effect will be worse, Idk if anyone else has this on their new TV. It is sort of noticable on camera but definately noticable in person.
