Title: Excellent value price to performance TV with a terrific OS.
Review: I recently purchased this TV to wall mount and replace our aging Samsung primary bedroom TV. The picture quality is quite good. I have OLED TVs for my primary viewing TVs but also love the punchy colors of Mini LED TVs like this Roku TV. The Roku OS is the best for me and my family’s needs. It is simple and snappy to navigate amongst all of our streaming apps. The performance of the picture quality and even the sound are very good. The sound really surprised me. We have dedicated 5.1 and 7.1 for our main TVs but for our bedroom we rely on just the TV speakers, which are usually quite underwhelming. This Roku TV has surprised us with its sound.

Title: Fantastic TV, recommend over Select Series, but one flaw
Review: There are several versions of the Roku TV. This one is the Plus, the other is the Select. My only recommendation is SPEND THE EXTRA $100 and go with THIS PLUS model. DO NOT get the Select. True, you will save $100, but the picture quality on the Select is sub-par. I ordered the Select first, returned it and exchanged for this Plus and it was the best $100 or so I’ve ever spent. It was well worth the extra money, the picture quality and build quality on this Plus model is fantastic. The sound is good, but get a Roku Sound Bar for even better. The only complaint is with the USB Port. This issue is present on the Select AND Plus. if you use bias lights, and plug into the TV usb port, there is a flaw. The menu has two options: “Turn off with TV” and “Delayed Off”. Delayed off keeps USB power for some time after the TV is powered off for charging things. So selecting Turn off with TV you would think would turn off USB on power off. Nope, still a delay of about 10 minutes. So if you have Bias lights, and turn off the tv to go to bed, they will stay on for 10 minutes in Turn off with TV mode, and longer in Delayed Off. This is a firmware modification I hope Roku will make. However, for me it;’s worth the hassle now as this is a fantastic TV.

Title: Good replacement tv with lots of features.
Review: Got this to replace a 9 year old Samsung that went belly-up. It was easy to set up and get started. I purchased a tv stand for it as I did not trust the little legs that came with it and it was a stand that allowed the tv to be rotated. The picture quality is excellent and the menu is easy to navigate. It comes with access to several streaming channels, some are free and others require subscription. We’ve had it for several months and have had zero problems. Considering the features and quality of the sound and picture, it was a good bargain.

Title: My first new TV in 11 years
Review: The world of TV technology has evolved several generations since my last purchase. This Roku 55″ Plus-Series is a very good piece of hardware. The image is bright, clear, readable, and viewable at acute angles. The sound is good enough to dissuade me from buying a sound bar (my hearing is degraded). However, I do not like ANY of the streaming TV user interfaces (Google, Roku, et. al.) I really wanted a good dumb TV (I use a Fire Stick for any streaming needs), but good dumb TVs are no longer available. I chose the Roku system for its simpler reputation (I watched a lot of YouTubes), especially for a neophobic wife (who’s actually doing well with the Roku interface).I resented being forced to create a Roku account in order to unlock my TV. The End User Agreement is somewhat frightening, but they all are.I certainly do understand that TVs are cheaper/better because the manufacturers make their real money selling information and from streaming revenue. If you are looking for a streaming beast of a TV, you will be pleased with this purchase. As for me, I surrendered no wireless passwords (used ethernet) when setting up this TV, and this TV will never use the internet again.Regardless, I give 5 stars for this TV, for ease of setup, operation, and quality. I could certainly recommend it.

Title: Great tv. Super ease of use and setup.
Review: What I love about Roku tv’s are there ease of use. But this tv ups the playing field with its sharp and bright picture and almost soundbar quality audio. Considering what I paid, it is well worth the money.

Title: This is a Great TV and ROKU Remains Awesome, but still prefer the ROKU Stick
Review: I just bought 2 ROKU TVs, this is the “better” of the two in regards to screen size and refresh rate. I mounted this over my computer desk in my office. But why 4 stars!!!! Well that is hard to explain but I will try.My living room TV is a Hisense which is pretty pricey and you must have a Google Acct to set it up. Then you have to sell your privacy soul to Google and Hisense. When all that was said and done I unplugged it from the internet and put in a ROKU stick. What I like about the ROKU stick is it is only powered on and doing internet stuff when the TV is on. So it is not just sitting there waiting to be hacked or worse yet, spying on me via Hisense or Google. So I really do love ROKU and have been a long time fan. Both TVs are great and the price was great but technically the TVs are always on (unlike the ROKU stick).Note that I am not crazy, and that I owned a VIZIO that eventually ended up in a Class Action lawsuit for exactly what I am speaking of. So that is why I took a star from the this review. Even when off the ROKU TV is passing data on my network. You did so many things right, you need to power down and disconnect when off. Rather than be exploited in some future hack. Just saying.I do love the TV itself, but would like it more on a ROKU stick that turns off when I shutdown…I do own 2, I do recommend it. Some of you will get what I am saying…

Title: Great bargain for a great TV
Review: I have three fire tv’s a samsung and another roku which this replaced. This TV is great. Set up was simple. The picture is fantastic and the sound with built in subwoofer is as good or better than my soundbar and sub combo. I am not even using the soundbar there is no need. You can really tell a difference with the micro LED’s.
