Title: Saved a large speaker with broken Bluetooth using the Aux input
Review: METHODOLOGY I used this unit in Receiver (RX) mode to salvage a large standalone speaker where the internal Bluetooth module had failed. I connected it via the 3.5mm (1/8 inch) aux port and tested streaming reliability from my phone.THE GOODRestoration: It immediately returned wireless functionality to my speaker. The signal through the aux input was clear with no background hum.Connectivity: Pairing 5.3 was instant. It appeared on my phone list immediately without the “searching” delay common in older adapters.THE BADCable Stiffness: The included aux cable is quite short and rigid. It fights you if you try to bend it.Connection Angles: Because the cable has no flex, it does not allow for a clean angled attachment. It sticks straight out, which might be awkward depending on where your input jack is located.VERDICT This is a reliable fix for audio gear that has a working amplifier but a dead or non-existent wireless receiver. However, you may want to swap out the included cable for a softer, longer one if your ports are in a tight spot.

Title: Very pleased.
Review: It work fine. I’ve only used it in my truck through the Aux port. The only difference between this and factory Bluetooth systems is, when you turn off your car, the dongle doesn’t know and your device continues playing and doesn’t pause automatically. But that is a small consolation considering the upsides and price.
